The Yoke of ChristMatthew 11: 25-30 Praise to the Lord of Heaven and earth, Since He knows what I am truly worth; He has kept things a secret from the wise, Making it clear to children in their eyes. And so it was pleasing unto the Father, Ensuring unto me all things come thither; As no one having knowledge of the Son, For through Him our salvation been won. And to whom the Son will make it clear, As the path to the Father to those sincere; So go to Him of all who are heavy-laden, He shall give you rest from your burden. Take His yoke for putting it on to learn, Being as Christ gentle and not stubborn; You will have rest for your weary soul, As Christ will hold the weight to console. While the non-believers secrets conceal, But believers of Christ who will reveal, Of the reasons why He was sacrificed, And pick up and wear the yoke of Christ.
