This Year's Love
2005 got me thinking this could be the year
that my love is returned, not crushed or burned
but gently sweetly returns the person for me
I think it's possible to love despite what may be in the middle
to see through the barriers and unlock all the scariness
the feelings that make your heart skip a beat
and send those butterflies from your stomach to your feet
it's all here just waiting and willing
to capture the heart and spirit of this beautiful being
dreams are attained if you realize what they are
and this year's love is my dream
after all of this I am finally living it....
