Conflict Of Interest
I can't get involved the stakes are just too much
I can't look let alone touch
and I can't think about you even though I want to
you know, I know it's a conflict of interest
I am not a backstabber, I am cursed in this case with loyalty
it wouldn't be right no matter all the excuses
and I can't face myself let alone her
if I let it go farther than this
my hands are just tied....simply a conflict of interest
You know one of us has to stop, stop staring and hoping
stop wishing and dreaming and well that my love is gonna be me
cuz as much as I wish the situation different
it don't change the facts
the conflict of interest is like the pink elephant in the room.
