The Great Living WordHebrews 4:11-13 Let us have strong desire before we rest, And no one goes until finished his quest; For it would be an example of unbelief, In stealing off into the night like a thief. For the Word of God is of living power, It is bigger than that of the tallest tower; And is sharper that any two-edge sword, Piercing through things God has deplored. Slicing through soul, spirit, muscle, bone, Able to see whose heart is made of stone; Nothing made that is not completely clear, And nothing is hidden that is not sincere. But all things open to the eyes, who read, The Living Word and the Gospel seed; For it is the Word of the truth and light, The Word that gives a blind man his sight. The Living Word can discipline your soul, And give you comfort in order to console; Because it will help you through the strife, The Living Word is the guidebook to life.
