God's Scribe Poetry Selections

Tears of Heaven

The tears of heaven
fall softly down
from their hiding
place among the
wet leaves of the
trees now creating
my own
personal ceiling.
Slowly they fall,
gently they land.
Hidden in the guise
of raindrops
left behind from
the passing storm.
The wind carefully
pushes them to their
limits and they
fall softly down
to my world.
And calmly I
accept them.
 One on my head.
One on my leg.
One on my hand.
One on my cheek.
They kiss
me all over
and soothe my heart.
They release the tears
I now bury inside,
I too cry for this
lost and lonely
world.
One day the tears
will stop.
One day all will
be right.
One day.
