Serving Two MastersMatthew 6:19-24 Do not hoard wealth while here on earth, You might find value not what it is worth; Maybe destroyed by a deluge or a blaze, Or by the thief at night having evil ways. Rather store your treasures up in Heaven, Where a reserved spot that God has given; Wherever your wealth is also be your heart, Always remaining vigilant never to depart. The light of a body is the eye that's true, Filling your entire body with light for you; But if an eye is evil the body will be dark, And evil will follow you on all you embark. If your light is dark how dark could it be? Since it's the truth as you will never see; No man can serve more than one master, He will love the one while hating the other. You will cling to one as another no respect, Obedient to one while the other you object; Your direction in life you need to examine, As unable to serve both God and mammon.
