Following His DesiresIsaiah 53:1-6 Who would have faith in the Word? With everything that we have heard; And the arm of the Lord is unveiled, As the plan of God is finally detailed. Just like a delicate plant on dry dirt, The roots having difficulty to exert; Since of finding no form of grace, And of no pleasure of such a place. Rejected, despised and turned away, Filled with much sorrow and dismay; Looked on as trash nothing of value, But it was our pain in giving us anew. As He took them adding to His weight, In order for our suffering to alleviate; It was our sins had caused His scars, Crushed by evil doings that were ours. He took punishment so we have peace, Giving unto our own lives a new lease; All of us went wandering off as sheep, Following His desires we hold so deep.
