Climb the highest mountain, punch the face of god
Rubbing Away Invisible Tears
If it wasn't for the clouds
I'd be able to see you, God.
“But God is everywhere and everything,”
Says the little voices in my head.
Crows crowing,
Ravens flocking,
Eagles gliding,
They all know where they're going.
I've never known a specific direction.
But, views differ.
Even the wind has a destination,
It'll go farther than I ever will.
I don't even dream to go anywhere,
Except to sit atop the trees.
And I'm always crying when I dream,
Waterfalls of bloody tears that
Never fade once they fall upon the papers.
Then I awaken, freakishly
Rubbing my eyes, rubbing away
Invisible tears.
