Naked Before You
In a darkened cloak of sorrow she walked
Masking all her emotions from view
Yet depressions cloth is shed at last
She stands reborn, naked before you
Feeling the wind dance upon her skin
As her senses slowly come back to life
Feeling weightless deep within her heart
Stripped now of all her pain and strife
Sheild her eyes from the sun she may
Though at last lifes beauty she can see
With open arms she greets the morn
Accepting of her newfound tranquility
With naught a burden left upon her soul
She steps into her life anew
Leaving behind that cloak cast out
Freed at last, naked before you
