One thousand hearts can not compare
To the one held in my hand
It came to me, unexpectedly
From a far off distant land
It is softer than a feather
More beautiful than the rising sun
Trade it, I wouldn't for the world
This tender and precious one
It is warmer than a close embrace
More refreshing than summer showers
I hold it so very carefully
Enjoying the love it gives for hours
One thousand hearts may come and go
Yet this one shall never leave
And now I thank you too, my love
