She Knows Regret

Once she could claim innocence
Thoughts in mind were pure
Circumstance in hand with fate
Leaves her now unsure

A weary road she traveled
Lost herself along the way
O the price of growing up
Now with her soul did pay

Mistakes she made were plenty
Such longing to forget
With head hung low she walks
For now she knows regret
