Faith Based Leadership

Proverbs 29:1-4

Sharp words of hate make a heart hard,
Easily broken being burnt and charred;
It becomes very brittle and in disrepair,
Loosing hope while in a state of despair.

When upright are in power all are glad,
But while the evil rules everyone is sad;
A man who is a lover of wisdom is a joy,
But going to harlots he becomes her toy.

An upright ruler makes it safe in the land,
But evil has ulterior motives in his hand;
The upright ruler talks constantly to God,
Knowing of human thoughts often flawed.

But evil rulers do not have common sense,
Uncertainty between offense and defense;
Allowing his emotions in taking control,
And having no compassion for to console.

An upright ruler remains straight forward,
Because he stands firm in the Holy Word;
Unlike an evil ruler that avoids the facts,
An upright ruler has God who interacts.
