A Little Of Something Is Better Than Nothing!A little of something is better than nothing, Of this – it's so very true, For the benefits are usually rewarding, When it's something you really want to do! I would rather have a teaspoon of jam, That nothing at all, cos you see… The little sweetness of the taste, Is all that I need it to be! I would rather have contact than none, No matter the pain it will bring! For no matter what, and no matter when, It makes my little heart sing! So you see - you shouldn't go on a ‘diet' And omit anything you love in life, More, a little bit of something… Helps elevate pain and strife. For the bee that taste the nectar, And savours the beauty within… Is the cleverest one of all…! And the honey will never dim! And the one that gives up everything, Will always lose in the end, For a little bit of nothing- Brings about a pain that just won't end! So accept the little bit of something! And count your blessings from above, For if you chose a little bit of nothing… You will lose the thing you love… For everything that happens in life, There is always a reason why! So hold fast that little bit of something, And don't break your heart and cry! For the beauty that is beheld- In the eyes of another love so true, Makes a little bit of something better, And less painful for me and you! For rather I have the little bit of something, To hold onto and guide me through, Then I have a part of nothing… For nothing just will not do! So remember the words I tell you! Remember to keep that teaspoon of jam! Savour it whenever you need too… And get through the ‘something' like I am! A little of something is better than nothing! Don't you go on a ‘diet' today!!!
