Changes
It's become increasingly clear to me
each time I look in the mirror,
I'm never gonna be satisfied
with my maturing figure.
First, there is the obvious pair,
They used to bounce; now sag!
Eyes that once were clear,
are now packing bags!
Hair that was full and thick,
is now thin and gray,
I buy Lady Clairol to wash it all away.
A waist I used to flaunt,
is nowhere to be found,
Once slim and trim,
now it's wide and round!
every time I take a look
I spot something new,
then I have to wonder;
do others see it too?
I bathe it, feed it, starve it!
I beg and pamper too
It's constantly changing,
what else can I do?
Accept it!!!
each time I look in the mirror,
I'm never gonna be satisfied
with my maturing figure.
First, there is the obvious pair,
They used to bounce; now sag!
Eyes that once were clear,
are now packing bags!
Hair that was full and thick,
is now thin and gray,
I buy Lady Clairol to wash it all away.
A waist I used to flaunt,
is nowhere to be found,
Once slim and trim,
now it's wide and round!
every time I take a look
I spot something new,
then I have to wonder;
do others see it too?
I bathe it, feed it, starve it!
I beg and pamper too
It's constantly changing,
what else can I do?
Accept it!!!
