To Be Involved
I wish to be a cloud,
To let the breeze push me pull me.
To just go where the flow is.
To be patient, to be calm,
To be more with the world
Than what I am now.
To be involved.
But I don't need to be a cloud
To be involved.
I don't need to be in the sky,
To be of the sky, to be seen.
I don't need to be
Pushed or pulled or flowed
In any direction other than
The one I set for myself.
I am patient and calm,
So my chosen paths
Shall be illuminated for me.
