SNOWFLAKES
Snowflakes falling all night long
a very breathe taking sight
streets, houses, lawns
under a blanket of white.
like a child, I watched them fall
excited by every snow drop
different shapes and sizes
I prayed it wouldn't stop
I hopped!
I jumped!
I played in it!
had homemade ice cream too
couldn't get enough of it
so many things to do
snow angels, snowballs, snowmen
we really enjoyed them all
maybe a long time
before we see more snowflakes fall
