Blindly reaching past
the fear of yesterday,
She lingers here
unwilling to
take a chance,
To lose what she holds
dear to her heart,
The man unseen by her eyes,
Fills her heart
with such peace,
Still her soul
longs to fly,
Awaiting his imagine
in her mind,
Yet again he
evades her,
Only the sound of
his voice does she hear,
Through the darkness
