FOREVER CAME TO AN END

V-1
Now, did you believe
that you wouldn't leave?
Was that what you thought?

V-2
Didn't you know forever could end
Or was it that you didn't know when?
So, was all that time for naught?

Chorus
For forever came to an end,
To an end,
Like it hadn't ever been,
Hadn't ever been,
For forever came to an end,
When I knew, I wouldn't see you again.

V-3
Yes, was forever for you
a place for me to find the blues? Just some kind of game,

V-4
For awhile to play,
Knowing you wouldn't stay.
Was that always your aim?

Bridge
Who could know,
that dream would go,
that forever could end,
that love couldn't win.

Chorus
For forever came to an end,
To an end,
Like it hadn't ever been,
Hadn't ever been,
For forever came to an end,
When I knew, I wouldn't see you again.

Chorus
For forever came to an end,
To an end,
Like it hadn't ever been,
Hadn't ever been,
For forever came to an end,
When I knew, I wouldn't see you again.
