~THE SIG BOX~

Shallow and dark are my once elusive dreams,
For I know not why they no longer shine.
I reach out my hands to the stars so high,
Only to fall back to where there is no more sky.

A candle is burning so very nice and slowly,
Yet still, the room feels so very lonely.
Brightly it shines within my glowing eyes.
Slowly fading away, as does the day.

Sunrise gives me the power to see music,
As dances of nature breeze through the trees.
I dance along until the breeze slows down.
Along with the sunset, I too lay me down.

Sweet dreams in the night may not stay throughout.
For as darkness grows, some dreams deepen,
Awakening me from nightmares of fright,
Sometimes throughout an everlasting night.

No longer do I question my elusive dreams.
For I know they can shine as the sun above the sky.
Shallow and dark, they no longer stay,
For I allow the everlasting wind to blow them away.
