The Strength of a Woman

The Hands of  Time

We were all friends
Down at first
Until that day
Became the worst
Together forever
Is what we always say
But the years gone by
Has caused dismay
Time has come
Time has past
My our lives
Have changed so fast
A penny for your thoughts
A dollar for your dreams
Our lives have been shot
Although it seems
The hands of time
Will never be the same
Life has gotten harder
It's a whole new game
There are things to explore
And many things to do
If you sleep now
You will never restore
The hands of time
Can never be changed
Our souls are still here
But our minds are so deranged
The hands of time
Will last for all morality
I hope by then
We'll come to reality
