Now or LaterBlessed are those of you that are poor, You will be wealthy at Heaven's door; Blessed are you that hunger and thirst, For in Heaven you will be served first. Blessed who have sorrow and are sad, The joy in Heaven will make you glad; Blessed when others despise and hate, For the Son of man will judge their fate. Rejoice in that day as you leap for joy, For those against you He will destroy; Since your reward shall be in Heaven, Your past be wiped clean sins forgiven. But woe are those who have been fed, And have been filthy rich here instead; Woe be to who has pleasure and delight, For your next life will not be so bright. Woe to those who are conceited and vain, Your seed will not produce ample grain; Enjoy your creature comforts as you can, Nothing for you from God within His plan.
