If we work together, and pray together
I wonder what this world could be,
If we all joined together on a bended knee.
If we laiod down the guns, and refused to fight,
If we smiled to each other, when a stranger was in sight.
If we turned the darkest night into day,
If we all went down on our knees to pray.
I wonder if we could find the peace we desire,
I wonder if we could cease war's burning flame,
If we opened blind eyes to see,
If we all joined together on a bended knee.
Some of us feel such sorrow,
We don't see hope for tomorrow,
While others stand alone, strong like the oak tree,
I wonder what this world could be,
If we all joined together on a bended knee.
Taken the prayers out of school's,
Once men of faith, now they they are fools,
It's time to change the rules,
I beg and plead,
For what we need,
is for the prayers to cross the seas.
And for war to seize
Join together on bended knees.
