Your heart began as a beat beneath mine,
a rhythmic pattern in time to endure,
Your heart destined to another entwine,
to have and to hold in a love so pure
Keep faithful and strong the love your heart beats,
forever, this commitment you pledge now
A heart can endure love's amazing feats
everlasting to be your marriage vow
His heart began in the exact same way
from child to adulthood the love has grown
A blueprint of life forever to stay
begun of generations of love shown
Two separate hearts to become just one
Entwine your hearts in the love you've begun
