The Phoenix To The Flame! From the Phoenix to the flame, It ignites and then will burn… This age old mythology tale, Is something from which we learn! And as the Phoenix disintegrates, The flames burn higher and higher, Until it is no more than ashes, But its rebirth will never tire! As powerful as the Phoenix is! It still withers and it dies… And no matter the heat of the flame… You will never hear its cries! From the ashes the Phoenix rises, Replenished like a garden seed, Surveyor of all within its sight, Its strength is all it will need! The power of the Phoenix, As everlasting as it's portrayed, Stands out against the strong, Its determination can't be stayed! It stands the test of time, In it's rebirth over and again, For as mighty as that Phoenix stands, Its strength will never wane! For the passion within it is true, And it will never fail in its quest, To rise again from the ashes! To be it's very best! And if you look way above you, As far as the eye can see! There, gliding through cotton wool clouds; Is The Phoenix – That Phoenix is me! Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem |
