Conversation With God
God I know you are here with me
how are you? I know fine
you are in the kingdom, I can only imagine
well me I am a bit spent
and I was wondering could you repair my broken spirit?
see I am a good person, or I try to be
never cheated,robbed or killed
sure I have lied but I swear it's not been to hurt
you my Lord know me more than most
so why am I sad? Why can't things just go right?
maybe I am meant for greatness only in my after life
with you dear Lord....
if so I apologize for in advance for asking for things
that is not in your will
I don't want to be rich but I want to survive
is that to much to ask? please my Lord give me a sign
I am lonely Lord, and I know this is a want
but could you please send someone my way
maybe it's not in the cards but if not
would you lead me to my purpose?
or must I find it on my own?
it's okay Lord all these storms
I know it will make me stronger
so please give me some more strength
with out this Lord I don't think I will last much longer
you know how much I can take
so I lay this at your feet
and walk away knowing in your own infinite wisdom
you shall answer, maybe not to my liking
but you will answer....you always have returned my calls
