When It Just Isn't Right…

When it just isn't right, when it's all gone wrong,
You love them; you do, and it's a love so strong;
Because the love is true, the heart is full…
But there's something not right, there's an awful pull…

A pull to the side and it's not as it should be…
And it hurts the heart so and its pain that you see.
You want it to work, you need it so…
But in your heart, you have to let that love go.

A love that hurts like that, isn't what it should be,
For the heart that is hurting needs to be free.
So you are on a rollercoaster, the end is nigh,
And though you don't want it, it's about to wither and die.

Like the petal on the rose that blooms and fades away,
When everything has ended, like the end of the day…
That's when its time to realize what it is to be,
And let it go, let it go…wash it away on the sea.

On the sea of life many ill winds doth blow…
And like those winds…the pain will one day go.
But until that day, the heart will bruise and pain,
Until comes the day, happiness dawns again!

When it just isn't right – and nothing's the same,
Tis time to let go – and play the crying game!
And cry you will, and you'll hurt so bad!
Carry an ache in the heart that makes you sad.

But things will improve, and one bright day…
The smile will settle again, and in your heart will stay.
But until that time comes to pass, remember this well,
To have love in your life, you have to go through hell!

Because nothing worth having comes easy!
