Been so many months
Since you wrote to me.
Promised to be friends
Then stopped talking to me
Happy I was to believe
That best friends always we would be.
But in not time at all
You completely forgot about me
Still, I sent you words
To show you how much I do cared.
None you returned
I'm confused, hurt,depressed
Now clearly I understand
Message was loud and clear.
Maybe you didn't mean it that way
But true friendship provides care
Perhaps you're too busy
But that's not excuse
I pass no judgement on you
Still you made my heart blue
You're preparing a new life
And a future brand-new
I always meant what I say
Friends are blessings, no less.
