I was asked to write a poem for
An upcoming adoption~~~~~
So, of course, I wrote two~~~
This is the first one.....
Written from God's Perspective...........


A Letter to Johnny
 
 
 
The time is right, and you are ready
To take your place in the universe.
I've searched and searched for parents for you
To Teach, and Guide; so you learn your worth.
 
They had to face their times of trials,
They had to learn from suffering shame,
They had  to learn to trust completely
In each other: and Me, the same.
 
I've walked them through those lonesome valleys,
Kept all their tears from all their pain,
I've carried them when they got too weary
Affirming that all would not be in vain.
 
So they have learned to truly love you,
And to discipline you with pride,
In knowing that you will be achieving
Your chosen path; with them to guide.
 
And they have learned to share your joy,
Doubling it through years of pain.
And they have learned to ease your sorrows
Listen wisely, their truth to gain.
 
Your Mother's name, Son, is Naomi,
You grew within her heart so fair.
Your Father, well, his name is Johnny
You will share that name with him there.
 
Together you will form a family,
Surrounded with Love, compassion, and care,
Cling closely to those who truly Love you
And know that I will Always be right there.
 
Grow in your strength, your wisdom and passion,
For your great worth will always be
The parents I have chosen for you,
And your devotion to them, and to Me.
