Yes...Only A Moment...In Reply To Feedback Left By Vickie... Yes it was hard to write it out, And so much harder to share! But if we bottle it up inside, We're eaten away by hate and fear! Things happen to us and we don't know why, And some things are so hard to bear, They try and test us every day, And feel that sometimes life isn't fair! What happens in our life moulds us! Into who and what we are! If we turned back time and change it, Then we wouldn't have come this far! For who's to say we would be better, Or worse for the changes we seek… Because all I know of me is this, Having the life I had made me not weak! If my life had not been as harsh as it was, And everything that happened was not so, Then maybe I wouldn't have survived, And maybe have let my life-force go! So you see, I always say to myself, Never regret what's in your life, Take the good with the bad, And take the love and the strife! For who and what we are comes from… The paths and walks we tread… And to allow only negativity in life, Then we might as well be dead! Things happen for a reason, Who's to say why that is so? So this I say, and I mean what I say, We have to let the hurt and anger go! Yes, life hurts and pains… No-one said it was easy to walk, But always remember, never give in! Stand tall! This is fighting talk! …Because… The sun will always shine again, The birds will always return, And for everything that happens in life, There is always a lesson to learn!
