Illusive Love
Love, I still desire you
I fear it may be too late
Because of prior commitments
living without you may be my fate.
I often wonder about you
and question if we've ever met
Many times I thought so
that caused me some regret.
At times you were illusive
causing me grief and pain
I wanted you to be there
but you didn't answer
when I called out your name.
A few times I was evasive too.
though I saw you coming
I didn't know what to do.
because I wasn't receptive
I chose to hide from you.
You were there in front of me
I didn't have a clue
Distracted by childish emotions
you faded from my view.
Love oh Love
Please tell me
that their is still some time
for me to find you once again
Love! passion! romance!
or is it only in my mind.
