A Deceptive Thief

John 8:37-47

I am aware we are all seed of Abraham,
But some may think of Christ as a sham;
It is better to know God as your Father,
Which is making Christ as your Brother.

If children of Abraham then it would be,
We would be doing all he had to decree;
Rather in disbelief of what I say is true,
The Word is of God not Abraham to you.

We were created by our Father in Heaven,
And you perform His deeds He has given;
If being your Father you show your love,
Worshiping and praising Him all thereof.

Why is it not clear the words that I say?
Blocking your ears as you begins to stray;
Not even Abraham rather Satan instead,
As your father from deception been fed.

The lies and deceit that has you enticed,
Rather than the Lamb of God sacrificed;
On giving the truth treating as disbelief,
From a child of God and trusting a thief.
