Mother's Day Letter to my DaughterMother's Day Letter to my Daughter Expressions of my love for you exceed my realm of thought. You have brought so much joy into my life, so much pride, So much happiness, I have never loved anyone the way I love you. From the first moment I felt you move, things changed inside. And I haven't been the same since, for every waking moment Was filled with thoughts of you, were you safe, were you warm, Were you fed, clothed, healthy, learning, experiencing the world? And was I being a good Mom, was I keeping you from harm ??? I know that you understand this now, because you have A daughter of your own and you are feeling these same concerns For her, and I just wanted you to know "You are a very good Mother". Evidently the mistakes I made were beneficial, because you learned. I watch you now, with her, and I still see you----and my heart goes Back in time, to those precious days when you were small. When everything in your life was “brand new”, and your joy was only Slightly higher than my wonderment at how you saw things, large or small. Very soon, you will be celebrating your Fortieth Birthday. If you can be as proud, as pleased, as truly happy with your daughter As I am with mine as she reaches her 40th Birthday, You will know how very happy I am to be Your Mother. God granted me many many Blessings in my Lifetime----- My Greatest Blessing Is You. Happy Mother's Day God Bless And remember…………… You Are Loved. Mom 5-3-05 Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
