Worth the Wait
All the new clothes she had to buy
Yet her mother never quite new why
Fat as a beach ball
Barely fit through the stall
Wanted to go and buy a lamp
But all the shoppers thought she was a tramp
She threw up every day at school
Morning sickness made her drool.
Oh, what did her friends say?
When they found out that regrettable day
She cut her hair just like a mom
Now no one will take her to prom
No one could relate to her.
She created quite a stir.
Things will never be the way they were
Now that she's a teen mother
If she just would have waited
All the guys she could have dated
It didn't have to be this way
Kids just can't be kids these days
