Happy Mothers Day-2005
"Happy Mothers Day"
Even though the years keep flying by so fast,
It seems like yesterday that I saw you last.
I see your face when I remember special
times of the year,
You always got so excited when Christmas drew near.
So worried you couldn't get all of us enough,
Especially when we were young and times
were tough.
Today someone at work said they had to go do
that Mothers Day thing tonight,
I told him I didn't get to do that anymore
and he said sorry,he guessed that didn't sound right.
I knew he didn't mean anything by it,just hard
to understand what it means,
To only see our Mother's face in our minds
or in our dreams.
I know your safe in God's loving arms and I'm sure you
know how hard it's been,
I Love You Mom,"Happy Mothers Day" and someday I'll
See your loving face again.
