The Silent Witness!He's the silent witness, who no-one can know, And he lives inside my head, He urged me on pushed me so, To save me from being dead! He lives in my heart most constantly, But never can be shown, We will always have that secret, I, and he alone... When things go wrong as they will, I'll never be alone in my plight, For there he is, inside my heart, My Guardian Angel of the night! And when I'm feeling scared, Sad, or down or blue, Though I'm on my own, I'm never alone, For there will always be my Angel true. When things are bad and I'm unwell, And my heart is hurt and sore, When at times I need a hug, I'll turn to my silent witness once more. He who knows me inside out, And who owns my very soul, Lives within this heart so true, And makes this heart feel whole! At times when things happen so sad, And I'm in need of loving care, I whisper to my head and heart, And my silent witness will be there. And when I need those hugs so badly, And I'm feeling oh, so blue, I look to the skies, raise my eyes, And know just what to do. Call on my silent witness, And place myself into his care, And lean on him for a while, Until once more peace is there. The silent witness in my heart, In every fiber of my soul, The silent witness, who no-one can know, Who makes my world feel whole! And as silent as my witness is, He is only known by me...
