He Said…He said that he loved me, And that he loved me true, Well if that's so, please tell me… Why this hell he put me through! He said that he would care for me, And love me all my life, And he even shed a tear…. When he asked me to be his wife! He said that I will never know… Just how happy he was at that time, When he asked me, and I said yes…! To the words, ‘Catherine, will you be mine!' He said that he was so happy, And that he knew he was meant for me, But still he walked away one day… For no reason that I could see! He said that God brought us together, And that he would never break my heart, So I let him in, and loved him so… Yet still he broke us apart. He said that if he lost me, Then he would lose himself too, For without me in his life, He wouldn't know what to do! He told me if I had died, After I nearly lost my life, That he wouldn't want to live! Because he wanted me to be his wife! He told me he would never hurt me, But that he would love me for all my life, And in all this time, he loved me true, That's why he asked me to be his wife. He told me we were forever, And that we would never part, And 9 weeks after he asked me to marry him, He walked away and broke my heart. He told me all this…and I believed him, And so I gave all my love to him, Then he walked away and broke my heart… This very heart he did win! He had a heart so good and strong, And it was so full of love for me, Yet in the blink of an eye it all changed, For a reason I can't see. He said all that, and meant it, And he would never have hurt me so, We had no arguments, nor unkind words, So why did he just up and go? He didn't give me a reason, He just cut me dead… And left me a broken woman, Without a single word being said! He didn't tell me to my face, He didn't even tell me why… He just left me a message… He left me on my own to cry. Do I love him? Yes, I do, For this I will tell from my heart, If I could turn back the hands of time, We would make a brand new start. …But we can't… Because I Can't Forgive The Unforgivable!
