He Stole My Heart!

He did you know, he took it,
While I was looking the other way,
In he snuck and just like that,
He stole it right away!
But then he decided to break it,
Oh what a find to-do,
And then I hurt all over…
And didn't know what to do!

But then after a while of mourning,
My heart got strong again,
But never will I allow it to be…
Broken, not ever again!
And now I am always looking…
Over my shoulder to my right and left,
No more sneaking upon me…
And no more feeling bereft.

Because now my heart is hardened,
Just like a rock hard shell,
No more the weakened heart,
For now it's as strong as hell!
So yes, he did, he took it,
One bright sunshine day,
In he snuck and took it,
And then he stole it right away!

But I claimed it back and kept it,
Never to be given again,
For this daft heart of mine,
Can't stand the awful pain!
