They say that cats have nine lives, but we really have one
You saw me get older as you remained so young
In the fourteen years of my life
I have seen you fall in love and get a wife
Remember when you used to play with me
And I'd roll on my back and you'd tickle my tummy
I loved you and I know you loved me
And as I lay buried in the garden under the tree
I know you had to put me to sleep
I loved the way we would lay together counting the sheep
I suddenly became very sick and old
But when you cuddled me you took away my cold
Thank you for all your love, so don't shed those tears
I had a cats live, and lived for fourteen cat years
