Sacrificial Salvation

Hebrews 9:23-28

It was necessary to copy things of Heaven,
As a means for offering honor and praise;
But things themselves are clean if given,
As a sacrifice of oneself to God always.

For Christ did not go into a holy place,
Made by man of a copy of something true,
He went into Heaven able to see the face,
Of God and sits waiting for me and you.

No need for to offer himself as a sacrifice,
Again and again nearly acting as an echo;
One time with His blood to pay the price,
And just a few days visiting down below.

A number of deaths He would have done,
From the beginning of time for this world;
For obtaining victory over sin to be won,
While His plan was able to be unfurled.

By the law of God death comes one time,
Then after that Christ returns for to judge;
With separating the good from the slime,
Bringing salvation and not to begrudge.
