Embracement from God

Habakkuk 3:14-19

You have put spears right through his head,
While his horsemen were sent out in flight;
They enjoyed ensuring the poor were dead,
And then devouring them without a fight.

The hoofs of your horses were on the sea,
Over vast open waters far from the shore;
In hearing it I asked just how could it be,
As my lips quivered from a sound of war.

My bones became feeble as started to shake,
That made my steps act like a drunken fool;
For sounds of grief were like an earthquake,
As some protesters demonstrated to ridicule.

Even though the fig tree not having flowers,
And there is no fruit growing on the vine;
Still we will be glad in God and His powers,
And giving me salvation with glory divine.

He is as my strength in running like a deer,
Guiding me through rough and rocky places;
And in knowing that I have nothing to fear,
For it is my Lord and my God that embraces.
