 The girl in the library

Whilst looking at the history books
I give you sly vertical looks
Through the gap I can see your face
And find myself reading books on outer space
I try and look sophisticated
But freak when I find myself reading ‘How early man masturbated'
I really want to go over to you and say hello
I don't care if you will say no
You are so beautiful I can't stop staring
And she looks at my book ‘How to stop constant swearing'
She smiles and when I see her book, "Love and destiny'
And from that moment I was in love with the girl in the library.

Written in 1996: This is a true story about a girl i met when i was in my Uni library. She was actually studying Drama and looking at books on Dance. And i was studying history and looking at books on Norman England in the row infront, and i took the book out and saw this beautiful face looking at me. She was called Claire. Even thinking about her now, still one of the most beautiful woman i have met.
