Heavenly Father so devine
Humble this safe heart of mine
To never let pass a day of gratitude
For soldiers both women and men
That has sacrificed for the red white and blue
Let all of us pray for their safe return
In Jesus name....Amen

As this Memorial Day draws so near,

We should think of loved ones we held

so dear.

The time to remember our friends and family,

And don't forget the ones that fight for you

and me.

Soldiers that will be fighting this very day,

We should also remember to lower our heads
 
and pray.

Pray these soldiers find they're way home

safe and sound,

That they all get to set foot back on America's

ground.

Don't forget the soldiers that fought the

wars of the past,

With the efforts of all these brave men

and women,maybe someday we can say

"Peace at last".
