Life had left me grounded
Yet now my heart can fly
Freed again from the chains
Of many tears that I did cry
I used to feel so very cold
My world had come undone
Yet with your love, you lifted me
To dance within the sun
I hid away in shadows
Fearing pain that fell into my life
I closed my eyes to everything
Until you showed me true loves light
I used to wish my dreams away
They only helped to make me blue
