M's Poetry
One Prayer
I have never asked for much
but tonight I ask you to be with her
save her, protect her Lord
only you have that power to watch over her
if she is crying touch her face
talk to her dear Lord
please make it okay
I have never wanted or needed something so bad
it's not even for me
which is weird but more how it should be
so many times self has been my prayer
but I come to you humbly
almost begging to answer just this one prayer
If I just knew she was gonna to be alright
but I don't....I have went through every emotion possible
thinking of every angle
I just can't shake this feeling of a tragic end
so I am trusting you will go there
and even though she doesn't believe
could you keep her safe and free for me??
