…If I Was A Martian...If I was a Martian, you know, an alien, I wonder if life would be better for me! No health rubbish to attack the body, And no complications you see! You know - if I was an alien; I'd really be so tough! Cos I really have to say it, My body's hit the rough! They would be able to try everything on me, I'd be a great alien ‘guinea pig' too! They could maybe put me to rights! Well, I wish that they could do! But I know miracles are very rare, So few and far between; they are, And I have to say, at the end of the day, This body's so bad, its gone way too far! Out of control, over the edge, Well, that's what they say to me! But hey, guess what? I don't care! Cos I'm still breathing you see! But if I was an alien; Maybe they could make me better? Hmmm, I think I'll see me doctor, And get her to send them a letter!!! Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem |
