Climb the highest mountain, punch the face of god

Splashes of brightness

*Lil_Poet_Man inspired me to write this poem as a part 2 to Splashes of Darkness*

Brightness
Benumbs my vision,
Splashes of brightness.

An erasure of darkness,
Out goes a thanks to God.

As hours pass.
          Tears persist,
                    The darkness dies.

As hours pass,
          Slowly comes the
                    Deadened realization
                              That darkness returns.

I'm searching for my yesterdays,
Solemn but gone. Yesterday's a fable.

I don't want the plague
          Of brightness to dissipate
And I don't want to live
          By the darkness of time.

I'm still searching for that version of fine.
