I Woke Up...I woke up to the sunshine this morning, And gazed up to the beautiful blue sky; And kicked myself up the backside! And promised myself no more would I cry!! You see, I've had a bit of a problem just lately, And I have let it wreck my head! But; I have now told my heart to behave! Because at least I'm alive and not dead! I woke up the birds singing sweetly, And dried my tears for the very last time! Because no more will I cry over this health! And from now on, I know everything will be fine! Because no matter the problems I bear; My head's always stayed nice and strong! And I can't afford that to go on me as well! For to let that happen would be so wrong! I woke up with a song in my heart this day, And looked at the picture to see what I see, I looked to the left; I looked to the right, And decided; this is the place were I want to be! So I gave myself a stern telling off today! And warned this heart of mine! To get strong, behave and focus! And then everything will be just fine! I woke up to a new dawn beginning, And liked what I saw this very day! So now I know that the strength in me is true! And I also know everything will be ok! So a new beginning has started for me! And I will face all I have to face head on! For this I tell you true of me; There is no fight that I haven't yet won!!! I woke up and found that within me; Is my strength and constitution once more! I am all I am, I am all I will be! And today I walked through another new door! Because I have never let anything beat me! And it won't happen now, no way!
