Are we really free,
If we must fear to be ourselves?
And when we walk down the street,
We must pretend to be someone else
And when someone asks our name,
We give them a fake one,
For we don't want them to know who we really are,
Because racism and hatred
Has haunted and scarred us all
Are we really free?
Then why do they take us away; lock us up?
Well I wanna REALLY be free!
Because of having to be someone I'm not...
