The Ship of Life

Oh! If only we knew which direction
the winds shall blow, we could set
our sails on this ship of life and
on this long  journey, smooth
sailing we would go.

Ah! But predicting those winds
is the key to the secret of success,
happiness and good intention.
But North, East, South or West…
that's the question?

Without the knowledge of the
wind's direction, this old ship
of life will face danger on the
high seas, storms and hurricanes
and many other disturbing things.

To master the knowledge of the winds,
we must first study, observe, and learn
from the sailors of the sea.
Educators they will surely be!

Without education, training, and
guidance many of life's ships have
been wrecked on the rocky shores.

Knowledge is the answer we should
all be seeking, hopefully it will keep
our ship of life from ever sinking.
