This Is Me, What You See…What you see is what you get, I am nothing more, nothing less, No false on show, no mask to hide, Just me, no need to guess… No need to guess what I am like, Nor to wonder if I am true, For I am always true to myself, And to others, just like you! I have nothing to hide, No skeletons to put on show, All my closets are open wide, I know where in life I‘m going to go! My eyes are always wide open, And my heart is good and true, These ears of mine always ready to lend, My shoulders are broad and strong too. I am always ready to help… I try to be the best that I can be, And try never to hurt another, For what you get is all you see. There is no mask, no false on show, And never will I change my ways, I will be the best that I can be, All my life long days! If we are true to ourselves, Then that is all we can ask, And no matter what happens in my life, I shall never wear a mask! Life is too short for anything less, And no matter where I should roam, There will always be love in my life, And I shall never be alone.
